GENiE Conference – First European Edition with EIT Health
Health care needs innovation and we need to teach it. The Global Educators Network for Health Care Innovation and Entrepreneurship (GENiE) Group was initiated by Prof. Regina Herzlinger to make innovation a central part of the education of future leaders in health care. After three major conferences of stakeholders at Harvard Business School (2012), Duke University (2013) and UAB, Birmingham, Alabama (2014), the first European edition will be hosted in October 2016 by IESE Business School in Barcelona, in collaboration with EIT Health, the Alliance for promoting entrepreneurship and making innovation happen in healthy living and active ageing, with the aim to improve quality of life and health care across Europe.
The GENiE Conference is particularly aimed at academics, to work together to move from exciting programs for Health Care Innovation to those that make change really happen. It also involves leaders of health care, to partner and collaborate to assure that we ascertain that innovation plays a central role in the education of future health care leaders. With all your inputs, we will realize a quantum step in this impressive movement.
IESE Business School will host this event.
